This couldn't be simpler.
Pop your Thuraplug into the plughole and inflate, fill up the sink and the
overflow with your chosen cleaning agent (we suggest diluted thin bleach that can cost as little as 28p for two
litres from the major supermarkets).
Leave for ten minutes to kill the germs and bacteria (but always follow any
instructions the cleaning manufacturer suggests for the safe use of their product). At the same time you will be
giving your sink a thorough clean.
You then rinse by repeating the process with water. Bacteria will have now been cleaned away
and your overflow, sink and section of the pipe below the plughole will be sanitised.
Always keep children and animals well away from bleach.
Never mix bleach with vinegar as this will produce dangerous gases.
Thuraplug can also be used to clean smelly shower traps, bath plugholes, even urinals, simply follow the
instructions at the bottom of the home page.
Thuraplug helping to clean smelly sink drain outlets and keeping shower traps smelling sweet.
Thuraplug is not a sink or plughole unblocker.
It differs completely from all the plughole unblockers on sale. This is because Thuraplug is in a
league all of its own when it comes to sanitizing plugholes.
Then again, Thuraplug isn't just used to sanitize plugholes.
It does an amazing job when it comes to cleaning the overflow section in sinks and basins, it even helps clean and sanitize
smelly shower traps. By using the Thuraplug plughole cleaner to clean your plugholes, the overflow section, and the pipe below
the plughole, you will also dramatically reduce or remove those unpleasant odours that can rise up through the plug hole.
